We'd love to take a moment to spotlight Black History Month — a season to celebrate, uplift, and centralize the powerful voices and ideas of our African American brothers and sisters.
As a publishing house, we have the distinct honor and privilege of working alongside Black authors who have penned beautiful memoirs, insightful biographies, and pivotal works on biblical interpretation and racial justice. It is in the spirit of Black History Month that Eerdmans highlights our many titles that were written by Black authors or centralize Black narratives in history. It is also in this spirit that Eerdmans acknowledges that Black history ought to be celebrated far beyond just the month of February.
