The outstretched mercy and grace of the Lord is continually extended toward us. It doesn't change when we do. It doesn't wane when we allow trivial things to overtake our thoughts and priorities. He doesn't withdraw or get his feelings hurt when we get distracted. He is dependable, faithful, and gracious, even when we aren't.
With each passing day, let's become more like him. More intentional with our love. Growing from glory to glory, unwilling to let a day pass without setting aside time to still our hearts and pour out our love to him. Running after him with all of our hearts for one purpose—to know him, intimately. Let's become his lovesick bride, overflowing with hearts of true devotion, unlike anything the earth has ever known.
Father, thank you for the way you strengthen me even when weakness is a result of my distracted mind. You give me grace to keep running after you. Help me unite my heart and mind so my actions reflect my true desire—to know you more. You are worthy of my total devotion.
