BOTHER New Testament Verb: παρέχω (parechō)

BOTHER
New Testament
Verb: παρέχω (parechō), GK 4218 (S 3930), 16×. parechō means “to provide, bother.” Most of the uses in the gospels mean “to bother.” Jesus wonders why his disciples are bothering the woman who has just anointed him with perfume (Mt 26:10; Mk 14:6). In two of Jesus’ parables, a man sleeping with his family does not want to be bothered by someone knocking at his door (Lk 11:7), and an unjust judge does not want a widow bothering him (Lk 18:5). See provide.
