The lie will find you; it makes its presence known in our culture’s views of sexuality, psychology, education, entertainment, politics, and alas, even in the teaching of some churches. This is the lie that gives someone permission to say, “I am a woman trapped in a man’s body,” or, “I am a man trapped in a woman’s body.” This is the lie that enables people to insist two men having sex together can be called a marriage; it is the lie that turns Mother’s Day into “birthing people’s day” (because men can give birth too!). It is the lie that leads to the conviction that children should be taught how to enjoy sexual pleasures even in the earliest grades in our schools. It is the lie that has sold us the idea that if you don’t affirm someone’s aberrant sexuality, you are a bigot. It is the lie that insists others owe us a living and that objective truth from outside our culture does not really exist, but rather, it is invented to keep minorities oppressed.
